TO THE "HOUSE"

Gorilla House Gym’s “The House” is a 55,000 square foot facility.  We have 15,000 square feet of general gym floor access with cardio, free-weights and equipment and a class for every fitness enthusiast.  We have 18,000 square feet of three indoor tennis courts.  The House’s mindset is to be stronger, faster and more capable each day.  We offer some of the toughest and most unique workouts in Altoona. 

The first class is always FREE!  WiFi access available. Floor features a gated play section for children, visible to you from the main floor.

SAFETY MEASURES

We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all of our gym members. We clean, spray, and disinfect the gym on a daily basis.

From ages 6 to 65+ we have the perfect class for you! We have rowers, treadmills, elliptical machines, as well as a full selection of free-weights and more to help you get the most of your workout!

ABC Boxing

Not only is this is a great workout, but you are learning boxing from the best boxers in Blair County with Coach Tommy Wilt.  

Cardio Kickboxing

Martial arts style cardio workout to help you develop a strong mind and body connection. This class offers stations of cardio, strength, plyometric and core training focus. Maximize calorie burn and total body training.

Jujitsu and Judo

Students will learn the foundations of Jujitsu and Judo working on basic techniques including takedowns, self-defense techniques, position controls, position escapes and submissions.

MMA - Fighters Only

Our world class trainers have plenty of experience of training total beginners to seasoned professional fighters.

Hi! I’m Jeremy Claypoole and I am a personal trainer and coach at Gorilla House. I am a degreed professional with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. I am also certified with Silver and Fit, FiTOUR Spin Certified and NASM Personal Trainer. I have hands on knowledge and academic training to help you with General Fitness, Competitive Sport’s Training and Adaptive Fitness. I’ve worked with 14-80+ years old clients; no client is out of my reach!

Hi! My name is Sydney Ross and I am a personal trainer, Coach for Barbell Club and Kickboxing Instructor at Gorilla House. I am a brown belt in Jujitsu and Judo, and have been practicing martial arts for 11 years. I have 5 amateur MMA fights and 4 amateur Boxing matches. I was the first female wrestler for Hollidaysburg! I have my CrossFit Level 1 certificate, and FiTOUR Spin Certification and I am currently enrolled at Penn State for Nutrition.  Allow me to help you be the leader of your life and crush your goals.
