KID KONG PROGRAM
Ages 5 to 12
Kid Kong is an action-packed fitness class for kids ages 5-12 who are ready to challenge their minds and bodies. This 45 minute class utilizes plyometrics, cardio, and fun fitness challenges and games to help young athletes improve their agility, coordination, strength, speed, and overall fitness. Under the guidance of our energetic instructors, kids will jump, hop, skip, crawl, and climb their way through creative obstacles and activities that never get boring. Kid Kong is a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of fitness in a safe and social environment. With upbeat music and new challenges each week, they’ll have so much fun they won’t even realize they’re working out! Kid Kong takes kids’ fitness to the next level.
Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Ages 6 to 16
Get your kids into the dojo with our fun and empowering Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes! Our classes are specifically designed for ages 6-16 to introduce them to the fundamentals of jiu-jitsu in a safe, engaging environment. Through dynamic partner drills and games, kids will improve their balance, agility, discipline, and confidence. Our expert instructors break down techniques in a way kids can understand, with a focus on leverage and technique over strength. Kids will learn classic jiu-jitsu positions like the guard, mount, and rear mount, as well as foundational submissions like armbars and triangles. Our classes are a great alternative to team sports, providing a workout that engages both the mind and body. Kids will have a blast rolling with partners as they develop new skills and appreciation for this fun martial art. Come join the fun!
Kids Taekwondo
Ages 6 to 16
Our Kids Taekwondo classes help children ages 6-16 build confidence, strength, and focus through this traditional Korean martial art. Led by our patient, experienced instructors, kids will learn the fundamentals of Taekwondo in a structured, encouraging environment. Classes incorporate appropriate exercises to improve flexibility, balance, and coordination. Students master basic techniques including blocks, kicks, and punches which they will string together to earn their yellow belt. As they advance through the belt system, more complex forms and sparring skills are introduced. Kids will gain discipline and self-control as they progress through the ranks and test for their next belt. The benefits of our kids Taekwondo program extend beyond the dojo into school, sports, and relationships. The self-defense aspect gives kids and parents peace of mind.
